Who you're hiring

Why should you trust me?

Google did.

I didn't learn SEO from a blog. I worked with Google directly. They featured me on their Google Activate program all over Europe. If Google trusted me to represent them, you can trust me to rank you on them.

Before you hire anyone

Product photography red flags

Your product photos are often the first thing a customer sees. Bad photography costs you sales you never even know about. Before you hire a product photographer, watch for these warning signs:

They only shoot on white backgrounds

White background shots have their place, but if that's all they offer, your brand will look like every other listing on Amazon. Your products need lifestyle context, seasonal variety, and images that tell a story. Ask to see work that goes beyond the white sweep.

They don't ask about your brand

If they're not asking about your colors, your audience, your values, and where these photos will be used, they're just pointing a camera. Product photography should reinforce your brand identity, not ignore it.

They deliver one crop and call it done

You need square crops for Instagram, wide shots for your website banner, vertical for Pinterest, and tight crops for email headers. If the photographer delivers one set of files and leaves you to figure out the rest, you're paying to do half the work yourself.

They can't show you work across seasons

Your business runs holiday promotions, seasonal launches, and special campaigns. If their portfolio is all the same look and lighting, they may not know how to adapt. Ask: "Can you show me a Christmas shoot and a summer shoot for the same brand?"

They quote per image instead of per project

Per-image pricing sounds affordable until you realize you need 200 photos. A good product photographer should understand your full scope and price the project accordingly. Otherwise, you'll either overpay or cut corners on images you actually need.

They don't mention retouching

Raw photos straight from the camera are not finished product photos. Color correction, background cleanup, skin retouching for lifestyle shots, consistent white balance across your entire catalog. If retouching isn't part of the package, the photos won't look professional.

They've never shot for e-commerce or social media

Product photography for a website is different from product photography for Instagram is different from product photography for email. If they don't understand platform requirements and how people scroll, your images won't perform where they need to.

They rush the creative direction

A photographer who shows up, shoots for two hours, and leaves hasn't spent enough time understanding your products. Good product photography requires planning: which products, what arrangements, what mood, what story. The planning is what separates forgettable photos from ones that sell.

Problems I solve every day

Sound familiar?

“I'm taking my own product photos and they look... fine, but not professional”

I hear this a lot from business owners who are good at what they do but don't have hours to spend on photography. You know the photos aren't doing your products justice. Here's how I fix that:

  • Shoot your entire catalog with professional lighting, styling, and equipment
  • Deliver consistent, brand-aligned images across every product
  • Provide multiple formats so you never have to crop or resize yourself
  • Free up your time so you can focus on what you do best: running your business

“My product photos look different on every platform and it's hurting my brand”

Inconsistent visuals make your brand feel scattered. One look on your website, another on Instagram, something else in emails. Here's how I create consistency:

  • Develop a visual style guide specific to your product photography
  • Shoot with all platforms in mind from the start (web, social, email, print)
  • Maintain consistent lighting, color, and styling across every shoot, even when they're months apart
  • Build a growing image library you can pull from anytime

“I need seasonal content but I can't afford a photographer every month”

Seasonal marketing keeps your brand relevant, but most photographers charge per session. I structure engagements around your business calendar so everything is planned and efficient:

  • Plan seasonal shoots in advance so nothing is last-minute
  • Batch multiple campaigns into efficient shoot days
  • Deliver enough content to cover weeks of social media in a single session
  • Create a content library that gives you fresh material between shoots

Professional gear, personal attention

Your products deserve better than a phone camera and a ring light

Nikon Z mirrorless system, professional studio strobes, natural light setups, and a full Adobe pipeline (Lightroom Classic for processing, Photoshop for retouching). Every shoot gets the right lighting for the subject: studio strobes for clean product shots, natural light for lifestyle scenes, mixed setups for seasonal campaigns.

I shoot tethered when precision matters, batch-process for consistency across hundreds of images, and deliver in every format you need: web-optimized, print-ready, social media crops. One shoot, every platform covered.

2,500+ images delivered for a single client. Consistency at scale.

Simply works for your small business

Small Business Branding That Sets You Apart

I research your market, study your competitors, and design a brand that makes you the obvious choice.

Research your market first

A brand built on what actually works in your industry

I look at your competitors, your customers, and what makes people choose one business over another in your space. Every design decision comes from real research, not personal taste.

Design original concepts

A logo that looks nothing like your competitors

No templates. No stock icons with your name underneath. Every concept starts as original artwork created specifically for your business. Your brand should be instantly recognizable.

Build a complete system

Colors, fonts, and styles that work together everywhere

A logo alone isn't a brand. I create the full system: color palette, typography, visual style, and rules for how they all work together. Your business card, your website, your truck wrap: all one cohesive look.

Write brand guidelines

A rulebook so anyone can use your brand correctly

When you hire a printer, a sign maker, or a social media manager, they get a document that tells them exactly how to use your brand. No more guessing. No more inconsistency.

Deliver every file format

Files that work for print, web, embroidery, signage, anything

You get vector files, web files, high-res files, black-and-white versions, reversed versions. Whatever you need in the future, you already have the right file. No coming back to me for a format conversion.

Train you on using it

You know exactly how to use your brand yourself

I walk you through everything: when to use which logo version, how to apply colors, what fonts to use where. You leave the project confident, not confused.

You own everything

Full rights, full files, no strings attached

The designs, the source files, the guidelines: they're yours. If you want to work with someone else later, you take it all with you. No licensing fees. No holdbacks.

Common questions

Product Photography FAQs

Quick answers to help you decide.

Pre-shoot planning (shot list, styling direction, background selection), the shoot itself, professional editing and retouching, and final delivery in web-ready and print-ready formats. I handle the full process from concept to delivered files. If you need props or specific styling materials, we discuss that during planning so there aren't surprises on shoot day.

3 to 5 business days after the shoot. Rush delivery is available if you have a launch deadline. You receive both high-resolution files for print and optimized files for web and social media. Everything's organized and labeled so you can find what you need without digging through folders.

You own full usage rights to every image. Use them on your website, social media, Amazon listings, print materials, packaging, wherever you need. No licensing fees, no restrictions, no asking permission later. They're yours.

Both. Clean product shots on white or styled backgrounds are done in-studio. Lifestyle shots showing your product in context can be done on location at your business, a rented space, or outdoors. I'll recommend the right setting based on what you're selling and where the images will be used.

For e-commerce, plan on 4 to 6 images per product minimum: front, back, detail shots, scale reference, and at least one lifestyle image. Amazon requires a white background main image plus supporting shots. Social media needs a different style entirely. I'll build a shot list based on where you plan to use the images so nothing gets missed.

I handle styling. During our planning call, we decide on backgrounds, props, arrangements, and the overall look. If your brand has specific guidelines (colors, aesthetic, mood), I follow them. If you're not sure what you want, I bring options and we figure it out together on shoot day.
